Betwix & Between Throwing
Number of Sessions: Four 3-hour sessions
Course Fee: $80.00
Description:
This class will provide students more time on the wheel to improve specific skills to take their wheel throwing into a higher level of competence and creativity.
Students will:
- Identify specific issues or skills they want to improve
- Be observed by the instructor who will make one on one recommendations to enhance skills
- Create one or more " challenge" projects that will move into more creativity while further developing the identified skills
- Incorporate past experiences with new ideas, and
- In some cases, combine handbuilding with thrown projects.
Materials:
- Basic tools
- Clay of student's choice
